The Emerging Markets Investors Alliance (EMIA), as Secretariat of the Global Climate Finance Forum (GCFF), together with the Solar Impulse Foundation, will host an Investor Workshop on Climate Solutions during London Climate Action Week 2026.

As institutional investors seek to meet climate commitments while navigating evolving market conditions, a persistent challenge remains: how to better understand which climate solutions are investable, how they perform in practice, and how to deploy capital with greater impact, particularly in emerging markets, where investment risks are often perceived to be higher.

This private, small-group workshop is designed to help address this gap, exploring climate solution pathways and deployment constraints, market-ready solutions and the Solar Impulse assessment framework, and investment opportunities, challenges, and risk mitigation approaches in emerging markets.

Speakers include: James Gerber, Senior Scientist, Data Science, Project Drawdown; Robin Henri, Head of Investment Partnerships & Network, Solar Impulse Foundation; and Carla Orrego, Global Senior Manager, Climate Policy Initiative (CPI).
